Three people are dead and one person is injured after a fatal hit-and-run crash in Volusia County on Saturday night, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

At approximately 9:55 p.m., a 2025 Dodge Durango, a 2013 Ford Focus, a 2001 Suzuki motorcycle, and a 2020 Honda Pilot were traveling eastbound on I-4 east of Debary Avenue, FHP said. The driver of the Dodge Durango changed from the center lane to the inside lane in the direct path of the Ford Focus.

As a result, the left side of the Dodge Durango struck the right side of the Ford Focus, FHP said. This impact caused a chain reaction with the Suzuki motorcycle.
