The Manitoba government has opened nominations for the 2025-26 Excellence in Education Awards, which recognize teachers and school leaders who demonstrate outstanding commitment to student success. “Educators play a vital role in shaping the future of our children and our communities,” Education and Early Childhood Learning Minister Tracy Schmidt said in a statement. “These awards honour the dedication, creativity and leadership of teachers and school leaders who go above and beyond to help students succeed.” The awards are part of the province’s effort to highlight excellence in education and celebrate the contributions of Manitoba educators.
