Two teachers have filed a lawsuit against the New Jersey Education Association alleging the state’s largest teachers’ union improperly used member dues to support its former president’s run for governor .
The lawsuit filed in Mercer County Superior Court last week claims the NJEA used some members’ dues without their consent to fund Sean Spiller ’s unsuccessful bid for the Democratic nomination for governor.
