GEAUGA COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - Two people were hospitalized after a car crash in Geauga County Saturday night.

According Hambden Fire Department, firefighters were called out to Rock Creek Road east of Brakeman Road around 7:53 p.m. for a two-car crash.

When crews arrived, they found two cars with heavy damage.

Leroy Township and Chardon fire departments were called for mutual aid.

One person was flown to University Hospitals in Cleveland, and another was taken to University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center for treatment.

Rock Creek Road was closed until the crash was cleared.
