PHOENIX — A man was shot on Loop 202 Saturday night after an argument, according to authorities.
The Phoenix Police Department said officers responded to an area near Loop 202 Freeway and Van Buren Street at around 10:45 p.m. after reports of a shooting.
Police said officers arrived and found the victim, who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
"Preliminary information suggests there was a verbal altercation at a red light, and somewhere along 75th Avenue and I-10, and Loop 202 is where the shooting occurred," police said.
Police are looking for a suspect.
