A suspicious package prompted a temporary evacuation alert of a building near the Minnesota Vikings headquarters in Eagan on Sunday afternoon.

According to an emergency alert sent by Eagan police at 2:32 p.m., the suspicious package was discovered at 720 Vikings Parkway. An all-clear was issued at 2:41 p.m., though details about the situation remain a mystery.

"Evacuate the building and avoid the underground parking garage," the original alert stated. "We will send a follow up message when the area is cleared. Residents of other buildings do not need to evacuate."

That follow-up message came nine minutes later, with police saying all residents were allowed to return to the building and "there is no threat to the public."
