CONCORD, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Firefighters extinguished the flames that ripped through a garage in Concord Sunday afternoon.
The Concord Fire Department responded to a reported fire in a detached garage in the 3700 block of Bentley Place SW in Concord around 3:55 p.m. Firefighters were on scene within one minute of being dispatched.
Officials reported seeing fire showing from the garage located behind a single-family home.
Concord Fire contained the fire to the garage, keeping it from spreading to the home. It was brought under control within 21 minutes of arrival. A total of 27 firefighters responded along with four Engines, one Ladder, one Rescue, one Safety, two Battalion Chiefs, and one Division Chief.
Thankfully, there were no reported injuries.
