CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) -- Six months after a man was last seen in Cumberland County, authorities announced his remains had been discovered in Bledsoe County.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a Silver Alert for 84-year-old James Graves on April 3, saying he was last seen in Crossville two days earlier.

Months later, on Sept. 24, skeletal remains were found in a remote wooded area in Bledsoe County's Luminary Mountain region, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

On Wednesday, Oct. 1, law enforcement announced the Tennessee Medical Examiner's Office in Nashville had confirmed the remains belonged to Graves using dental records.
