AJ Barner continues to be a red zone weapon for the Seattle Seahawks.

The former Michigan tight end recorded his first multi-touchdown game in the NFL on Sunday in Seattle’s 38-35 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Barner, a 2024 fourth-round pick now has four touchdowns in five games this season for the 3-2 Seahawks.

Both of his scores Sunday tied the game. His first came in the third quarter, getting wide open in the back of the end zone on play-action from the 2-yard line. Early in the fourth, Barner caught a 6-yard touchdown pass, shedding a defender before walking into the end zone to knot the score at 28.

The Ohio native also finished with a career-high seven receptions for 53 yards. He has 14 catches for 134 yards in 2025.
