DENVER (KDVR) — Denver police on Monday morning are investigating a deadly overnight crash in which the driver left the scene.

The crash happened in the area of Colfax Avenue and Trenton Street in Denver's East Colfax neighborhood, according to a 12:46 a.m. Monday Denver Police Department X post.

Police did not give many details of the crash but said the pedestrian died at the scene.

Police called the crash a hit-and-run but did not immediately release any suspect information about the driver who left the scene or their vehicle.
