A man who allegedly mowed down two women in the city has appeared at Coventry Magistrates' Court . Callum Hyde was charged following an incident near the Daimler Green Community Centre.
Police arrested Hyde following an incident where two women were deliberately struck by a car on Highley Drive on September 21. Both were treated for their injuries, which were found not to be life-threatening.
Hyde, 37, was charged with driving dangerously, affray and two counts of attempted wounding. He appeared at Coventry Magistrates' Court on September 26.
Pleas were not entered for any of the alleged offences when Hyde appeared for his first hearing. He is set to appear again at Warwick Crown Court on October 24.
