Lawrence native receives second SEC football scholarship after visit

Although last week was a bye week for St. John’s Prep football, sophomore quarterback Chris Vargas stayed busy, taking a trip down to visit Texas A&M.

Attending A&M’s Blackout night on Saturday, Vargas got to see the Aggies beat the Mississippi State Bulldogs 31-9.
