LORDSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- More details have been revealed regarding a planned project involving the artificial intelligence industry and a facility in Lordstown.

Trumbull County Commissioners met Monday with representatives of Softbank, which purchased the Lordstown plant from Foxconn earlier this year.

In July, OpenAI and Oracle entered an agreement to develop up to 4.5 gigawatts of additional Stargate capacity to support AI, and those storage containers will be manufactured at the Lordstown facility as part of OpenAI's infrastructure platform.
