A night of food, music, and community was held on Friday, October 3rd, with a turnout and feedback heralding the Taste of the Nations a success for Southeast Advocates.

A packed lower level at McKenna Hall during the first Taste of the Nations event in 2023 warranted moving the event up to the larger hall of the venue for this year’s event, which also featured live entertainment from flutist Tim Malyi, singer Ikshya Thapa, the Mariachi Latino Band from Regina, and the Bharatanatyam South Indian Dancers.

This year’s event saw 231 attendees enjoying foods from Nepal, India, Ukraine, Metis, South Africa, Pakistan, Nigeria, Greece, Eritrea, Philippines, and Canada.

Bharti Patel provided free Henna tattoos for those who wanted one, and CAA supplied canvas tote bags for guests to paint.
