OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - It’s a cool and rainy start to the week today! Off and on showers will continue this afternoon into the overnight hours, but rain chances will gradually decrease over that time.

Because of the overcast skies and rain, temperatures will stay in the low to mid 50s for the remainder of the day. Much different than the above-average temperatures Omaha has seen lately!

Scattered showers end this evening and the clouds will clear out overnight. That will leave us a cool morning in the 40s by early Tuesday. Temperatures should be able to recover into the upper 60s by Tuesday afternoon, making for a comfortable forecast to get outdoors.

Our warmup continues as 70s return Wednesday, with a jump into the mid 70s on Thursday. A few isolated storms are possible Thursday as well
