KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Two people have been charged after drugs and guns were found near Woodland Avenue on Saturday, according to the Knoxville Police Department.

KPD said officers were conducting a follow-up investigation to a theft reported earlier in the day and found the suspects, Jesse Rocha and Tina Omary, both 39, at a camp south of Woodland Avenue.

When officers arrived at the camp, KPD said Rocha saw Rocha climb a fence and run across Woodland Avenue. After a brief foot chase, he was taken into custody. After this, officers found Omary, who initially gave officers a fake name but was taken into custody without incident after confirming her identity.
