The City of Weyburn is encouraging residents to ensure their utility bills are paid on time, in response to the Canada Post service disruption due to their nation-wide strike. According to information issued by the city, they are closely monitoring the situation and taking steps to ensure minimal disruption, however, mail deliveries are now not available.
They stress that regardless of the disruption, it is the responsibility of city residents to keep their accounts in good standing order and avoid any service interruptions.
Fortunately, there are other methods of payment available. Invoices can be received through signing up for ebilling; this can be done by emailing finance@weyburn.ca or calling (306)848-3201.
Payments can be made in person at City Hall by cash, cheque, or debit card.
