LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- U.S. Rep. Tom Barrett (MI-07) is commenting after Michigan Families for Fair Care gathered outside his Lansing office last week to urge him to support lowering health care costs and reopening the federal government.
Last week, Michigan Families for Fair Care rallied, with organizers saying that policies that Barrett voted for will lead to health insurance premiums on plans purchased through the Affordable Care Act marketplace increasing by an average of 131%. Barrett, however, says this wasn't a result of Republican policy.
