KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The kickoff time for Third Saturday in October rivalry game between Tennessee and Alabama was announced on Monday.

No. 8 Alabama will host No. 12 Tennessee on Saturday, October 16. The Southeastern Conference announced Monday that the highly-anticipated matchup will kick off at 7:30 p.m. The game will be shown live on 6 News.

Before then, Tennessee will face Arkansas at Neyland Stadium on Saturday as the Vols look to avenge last season's loss against the Razorbacks. Alabama will hit the road to face the No. 14 Missouri Tigers.

After 15 consecutive losses against the Crimson Tide, Tennessee has now won two of the last three games in the rivalry. Alabama leads the series all-time 59–40–7.
