MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — For the first time in a decade, the Maryville College football team is 4-0. This year’s squad isn’t just winning, it’s making a statement.

Coming off a historic 2024 campaign that included a nine-win season and the program’s first-ever NCAA playoff victory, the Scots have picked up right where they left off. Now in their fifth year under head coach Ben Fox, the rebuilding phase is officially in the rearview.

“The seniors in this class were really the first ones that believed in our vision for what Maryville football could be,” Fox said. “They helped lay the foundation.”

That foundation is made up largely of East Tennessee talent, including senior quarterback Bryson Rollins, who has posted standout numbers through the first month of the season.
