SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Tuesday through Thursday are First Alert Weather days as we track higher than normal tides that could lead to some coastal flooding.

We’ll look for spotty showers to continue moving inland throughout the afternoon into the evening. By midnight, we should only see isolated showers as temps cool into the mid to lower 70s.

High tides will remain elevated along the coast. We are expecting a high tide of 10′ around 9AM and 9.3′ around 9PM on Tuesday.

Minor Coastal Flooding begins at 9.5′. Any tide above 10′ can cause travel issues along Highway 80 between the Bull River Bridge and Tybee Island.

By tomorrow morning, we’ll look for starting temps in the 60s & 70s across the area. We are track a few scattered showers pushing from off the coast throughout the morning.
