WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A 39-year-old Wichita man died from his injuries in a crash reported early Monday morning on northbound Interstate 135 at North Hydraulic Avenue.
In the crash, reported a little after 5 a.m. Monday, the Kansas Highway Patrol’s report said that a 2007 Dodge Nitro, driven by Bradley J. Theis, was traveling north on I-135 when Theis lost control of the vehicle as he attempted to take the exit to North Hydraulic.
“[The SUV] became airborne, landing in the east ditch,” the KHP report said. “[The vehicle] rolled an unknown number of times and came to a rest on its top after striking a light pole.”
Theis died at the scene, the KHP reported.
