Before the question was even finished, Michigan coach Sherrone Moore interjected his opinion emphatically.

“Animal, animal,” Moore said Monday. “He should be up for the Heisman. Start doing it.”

The question Moore received was about junior running back Justice Haynes and his five consecutive games with at least 100 yards. Haynes is the first player in the Wolverines’ history to record five straight 100 plus yard games in his first five starts. He leads the Big Ten in rushing yards and yards per carry with any running back over 30 carries.
