Emmerdale fans fear for the future of a key character who might be driven into the hands of a major villain by her own family.

April Windsor has been at the heart of a drug-dealing operation in recent Emmerdale episodes. Played by Amelia Flanagan, she and Dylan Penders, portrayed by Fred Kettle, have been embroiled in the criminal world of Ray. Played by Joe Absolom, Ray has used April and Dylan to conduct a series of drug drops and involve them in his shady dealings .

To add drama to the situation, April has been kicked out of the family home by Rhona Goskirk, her stepmum. April brought some ecstasy back to the house, where Leo Goskirk accidentally ate some and ended up in hospital.

April felt forced to move out after Rhona told her she was uncomfortable with the 16-year-old stay
