Fourth game and fourth win for Rytas this season. The Lithuanian giant secured their first win after a spectacular game in Vilnius.

The Rytas basketball team defeated the Polish Legia with a score of 93:85, on their home court in the opening of the new season of the FIBA Champions League. After a top-notch basketball display in Lithuania, the hosts broke Legia’s resistance in the final quarter and recorded a triumph in the first round.

The match in Vilnius was completely balanced for most of the game until Giedrius Zibenas’ team broke it open at the beginning of the final quarter. After a 14-4 run, Rytas took their first double-digit lead of the game (86:76), which they easily maintained to secure the two points at the start of the new season of the FIBA Champions League.
