NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WFSB) - A 31-year-old Hartford police officer has been arrested after police found him asleep at the wheel.
New Britain police say Brenden Lytton was arrested early Sunday morning for operating under the influence and interfering with an officer.
Police said Lytton was found asleep in a car while stopped at a traffic light in the East Main Street area.
He has been placed on modified duty pending the outcome of the investigation.
Lytton was released on a promise to appear. His court date is scheduled for Oct. 17.
