HARTFORD, Conn. — A Hartford officer was arrested early Sunday after New Britain police said they found him asleep in a car while stopped at a traffic light.
New Britain police found Hartford Police Officer Brenden Lytton in the East Main Street area.
They arrested him for operating under the influence and interfering with an officer.
Lytton was released on a promise to appear with a scheduled court date of Oct. 17, according to New Britain police.
Hartford Police Lieutenant Aaron Boisvert said Lytton has been a police officer for seven years.
