ALBANY, La. (WAFB) - Deputies are investigating a shooting in Livingston Parish that happened Tuesday afternoon, October 7.

According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, authorities were dispatched to the scene of the shooting on Catholic Hall Road in the Albany area around 3 p.m.

Deputies said there are still a lot of questions about what happened. However, they said one person is being treated for a gunshot wound to the leg, while another person has been detained for questioning.

The investigation is ongoing.
