FRONT ROYAL — Speaking to a Chamber of Commerce group on Friday, Dr. J. David Martin, acting superintendent of Warren County Public Schools, shared the personal experiences that led him to a career in education — and why he believes in the power of community.
Martin also provided an update on facility improvements and his thoughts on the budget process, the school division’s calendar, and teacher retention and recruitment as the guest at the Front Royal/Warren County Chamber of Commerce’s monthly Coffee & Conversation series, held on the first Friday of each month at On Cue Sports Bar Grill on Main Street.
He encouraged community leaders and business owners — whether they have students in the county schools or not — to get involved with the schools in support of local children.
