The former Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg is back on the auction block.

The property at 2200 Market St. is listed for sheriff’s sale in Dauphin County at 10 a.m. on Oct. 16 . A previous sheriff’s sale in July was postponed.

The sale was initiated after owner Jeremy Hunter of William Penn Holdings failed to pay off debt from two mortgage loans within a 60-day time frame initiated in December 2024, a ccording to Dauphin County court documents .

Hunter didn’t respond when reached for comment.

In June he said he paid off one $500,000 debt in mid-May and was planning to pay an additional $1.7 million against a second mortgage loan.

Hunter purchased the property for $300,000 from the Diocese of Harrisburg in 2019.
