Ann Arbor growth plan advances in 8-0 vote as density debate continues

ANN ARBOR, MI — A third and near-final draft of Ann Arbor’s comprehensive land-use plan is headed to City Council.

After nearly four hours of public comments and Planning Commission deliberations into Tuesday night, Oct. 7, commissioners voted 8-0 to send the plan along without any additional changes. Council is now expected to vote Oct. 20 to start a formal 63-day public review and comment period.
