MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The Memphis Safe Task Force operations are continuing across the Bluff City with multiple law enforcement agents putting boots on the ground to fight crime in the 901.

Heath Anderson and his wife have invested over 40 years of their lives into the city of Memphis, working to provide for their children and grandchildren.

They believe the presence of the task force will change the trajectory of the city and say they’re already seeing results.

700 Plus Task Force Members have been confirmed to be in and around Memphis since operations began, according to Memphis Police Chief C.J. Davis during a Tuesday press conference.

Anderson says bringing the task force in is the right move in order to make neighborhoods and highways in Memphis safe again.
