FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) is responding to a crash involving a motorcycle and a car on the city’s north side Wednesday morning.

The crash happened just before 7:15 a.m. on E State Boulevard near Northside High School.

According to police on the scene say the two vehicles collided after the car attempted a left turn and pulled in front of the motorcycle.

FWPD says westbound State Boulevard is closed between Clinton and Parnell, and eastbound State Boulevard is down to one lane in the area.

At this time, the extent of injuries suffered in the crash is unknown.
