FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Bombardier, a Canada-based aircraft manufacturer, announced it is opening a service center at the Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA), bringing 100 jobs to the area.
The announcement was made during a press conference on Wednesday morning at FWA, attended by Governor Mike Braun, Fort Wayne Mayor Sharon Tucker, and Bombardier executive Paul Sislian.
The company says its 64,500-square-foot Fort Wayne Service Center at FWA will provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for all Bombardier aircraft.
The center is slated to start operations in the second half of 2026 and is expected to bring about 100 high-wage jobs to the area over the next few years.
