NORRISTOWN — The Norristown Columbus Monument Committee will present its Annual Memorial Ceremony this year on the Official Columbus

Day, Monday, October 13, at the Monument at Harding Boulevard and Sterigere Street in Norristown at 11 a.m.

The 45-minute program will feature a presentation by Monsignor Charles SanGermano, Pastor of Holy Savior Church of Norristown, music by the Verdi Band and the pageantry of the banners of the regions of Italy by L.A.M.-Valley Forge Lodge 1776 Sons and Daughters of Italy.

Other organizations participating will be the MSS Club, Holy Savior Club, Mount Carmel Club, Americans of Italian Heritage, the Knights of Columbus with the Norristown High School ROTC presenting the Colors.
