LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Laredo Animal Care Services (LACS) visited on October 8 to introduce our Pet of the Week, Lela, a 4-year-old Boston Terrier mix.

Esteban Delgado from LACS describes Lela as an extremely loving girl with a lot of energy. She is friendly and protective, and Delgado notes that she would likely thrive in a household with older children.

Delgado mentions that Lela has been adopted before but was surrendered because her owner could no longer care for her. Since she has been adopted before, Lela is up to date on her vaccinations and has already been spayed. Delgado also mentioned that he is confident that she will find a loving home soon.

LACS is also hosting an event on Saturday, October 11, where you can bring your dogs to participate in a costume contest. The event wil
