LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - A man was arrested by Laredo Police after allegedly admitting to driving under the influence and causing a three-vehicle accident in South Laredo.

The accident took place at around 11 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, near the intersection of Highway 83 and Zacatecas St.

Police say that when an officer arrived, they noticed a Border Patrol agent in a marked vehicle blocking the intersection where three cars had been involved in an accident.

According to the Border Patrol agent, a BMW 328i was stopped in the northbound lanes near the 2500 block of Hwy 83. The car allegedly made an improper U-turn and collided with a second vehicle at the intersection.
