CASS COUNTY, MI – Two suspects were arrested after they stabbed a man and stole his truck in southwest Michigan, deputies say.
Deputies responded to the stabbing and vehicle theft at 5:40 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, in the area of Patterson Hill Road and Mann Street in Newberg Township, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
A male victim told deputies that he had been riding in his truck with two other men when one of them stabbed him and they stole his truck.
Deputies were able to find the stolen truck and arrest the two suspects, the sheriff’s office said.
The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries. Deputies said he is in stable condition.
The suspects’ names are being withheld until they are arraigned.
