FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - First Alert Weather Days have been issued for Thursday and Friday mornings due to a high frost/freeze risk that will likely mark the end of the growing season. Low temperatures Thursday morning will range from 34-38º, while Friday morning will likely see a range between 30-35º.

Each afternoon highs will rise into the mid to upper 60s, so while ‘Alert Days ’ have been issued, the frost/freeze potential will only occur between about 4 am and 8 am.

Highs will warm into the upper 60s to low 70s over the weekend (with warmer lows in the 40s), and by next week we’ll see some days in the mid 70s!

It’s possible we see temperatures slide back down into the 60s toward the end of next week.
