NASH COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Deputies have arrested a Sharpsburg man accused of accessing child pornography.

Nash County deputies say they investigated Tray Jenkins on Monday after receiving a tip regarding his involvement in obtaining sexual content involving young children.

The 32-year-old man was charged with two counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, and possession of a stolen firearm.

A subsequent search of Jenkins’ home on Sandy Hill Court revealed a stolen gun along with several child pornography videos, according to deputies.

He is being held in Nash County under a $100,000 secured bond.
