A Michigan native with three decades of experience in TV news will lead Detroit's WJBK-TV (Fox2), according to a FOX Television Stations press release.

Brooks Blanton will join WJBK as vice president and news director effective Oct. 20, according to the release. He will oversee all editorial, business and administration function for the station and its streaming offerings.
