TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Tucson Police have announced a significant traffic restriction affecting Escalante Road.

Escalante is currently closed in both directions between Pantano Road and Camino Seco.

Authorities advise drivers to find alternate routes as the closure is expected to last for several hours.
