NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Southern Connecticut State University announced Thursday that it will be offering a free application period for high school seniors applying for the 2026-27 academic year.

There is typically a $50 application fee; however, it will be waived during the month of October.

SCSU urges students to visit its website if they are interested in taking advantage of the month-long offer.

There is also an upcoming undergraduate open house on Nov. 8 for prospective students looking to explore undergraduate programs, scholarships and student resources.
