BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- The Bronx Night Market is hosting a surprise one-day pop-up event this weekend before the season finale.

Over 30 local vendors will be at the Grand Concourse, serving up delicious dishes, ranging from street tacos and seafood to pastelitos and desserts.

The pop-up event will run from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11.

The official finale for the Bronx Night Market will be held on Oct. 25 at 1 Fordham Plaza.

The MASC Hospitality Group announced that this will be the last year that the open-air festival, which began in 2017, will operate. Organizers shared the following statement on the event's Instagram page:

"This summer, we say goodbye the Bronx way -- loud, proud, and full of flavor. We're not just closing a chapter. We're celebrating a legacy."
