CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A Charlotte man with cognitive issues has been missing for a month, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.

CMPD says 65-year-old Joseph Nsiah Bimpeh was last seen leaving his home on Wicked Oak Lane in northwest Charlotte around 4:50 p.m. Sept. 2. Officers recieved a call for service that night.

Bimpeh is described as a Black man, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 175 pounds.

He was seen in the area of Old Plank Road wearing a white tank top and white shorts and carrying a white, blue and yellow robe, walking northwest toward Brookshire Boulevard.

Bimpeh is said to have cognitive and other health issues.

Anyone who sees Bimpeh or has information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
