JANESVILLE, Wis. (WKOW) — A 22-year-old man accused of repeated sexual assault of a child was arrested Tuesday.

Daniel Munoz was arrested by Janesville police for second-degree sexual assault of a child, abduction of another's child and two counts of possession of child pornography, according to a press release.

Investigators said charges will be referred by both the Janesville Police Department and Milton Police Department related to child sexual assault.

Munoz's arrest followed a report of a possible child abduction Tuesday in the 1500 block of Woodman Road in Janesville. The caller said their child left the residence with a man, later identified as Munoz.

Through coordinated efforts, officers found the child and Munoz in Walworth County.
