Update: Freeze warning affecting Sussex and Warren counties until Friday morning

On Thursday at 2:08 p.m. an updated freeze warning was released by the National Weather Service valid from 11 p.m. until Friday 9 a.m. for Sussex and Warren counties.

The weather service states, “Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 29 degrees expected.”

“Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing,” says the weather service. “Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.”
