THIS EVENING, TONIGHT…

Temps this evening go from the 50s into the 40s. Then tonight, as high pressure moves directly over Southern New England, the wind diminishes allowing for ideal radiational cooling conditions. Essentially, with dry air and a calm wind under a clear sky… temperatures drop like a rock! Not only are we anticipating frost/freeze conditions, but near-record cold. Most of the state is either under a Freeze Warning or Frost Advisory. By daybreak, expect temps to bottom out between 27 and 32 inland, between 34 and 29 along the shoreline.
