ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) —The Western New York Coalition of Farmworkers has rebranded as Enlace to better support migrant communities, announced during an open house and rebranding ceremony Thursday.
The coalition, founded in 2018, focuses on advocating for justice and equality for migrant farm workers and their families. Through outreach, education, partnerships, and legal representation, the group has served thousands of individuals.
"We're celebrating that we have a new name that reflects the new identity and opportunity for us to do more work, for us to be able to reach to more people who need it," said Irene Sanchez, Executive Director of the coalition.
