ELMIRA HEIGHTS, NY (WENY) -- The village of Elmira Heights will celebrate the fall season with its annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 11.

East 14th Street in the Heights will be closed down to traffic and lined with food and craft vendors, kids activities, antique and classic cars, and live music. Businesses along 14th Street will also be taking part.

Festivities kick off at 10 A.M., and runs until 4 P.M.

The event is meant to celebrate the feeling of community, and highlight the best of the fall season.
